Project PNRR

“Is it possible to make a museum space accessible and inclusive?”

This was the key question that guided the PNRR project dedicated to the Villa Croce Museum of Contemporary Art. The interventions, both structural and exhibition, aimed at making the architecture and the museum itinerary accessible to all. Understanding the needs of people with disabilities was a fascinating process that broadened my practical skills on accessibility.

This project taught me how crucial attention to detail is, as well as the management and constant monitoring of activities, which are fundamental elements to ensure the success of such complex initiatives.

The core of the project was the creation of a route for the permanent collection dedicated to the blind. Thanks to the collaboration with the Unione Italiana Ciechi (Italian Union of the Blind), we managed to create an experience that could involve the largest number of visitors, breaking down sensory barriers.
