for the Altarese Museum of Glass Art

“How can a museum expand its audience in an innovative way?”
This was the question that we, together with a group of female researchers, explored for the Museo dell’Arte Vetraia Altarese. The project, developed as the final work of a 200-hour workshop, allowed us to study a difficult territory and a little-known collection. The main challenge was ambitious: to attract a young audience and involve them in a meaningful way.
To achieve this, we conceived an innovative project that offered a flexible experience. The result was the Vetrina podcast, created to tell Altare and its history in a fresh and engaging way, making the museum’s richness accessible to a younger target audience.
Thanks to this work, I obtained a research grant that allowed me to continue the project, focusing on the budget and identifying potential funding calls.
This project taught me how crucial it is to study the context in which an idea is born and how to analyse and attract the target audience through effective and targeted communication.
