“What are the usability issues that an anthropological museum may face in 2024?”
This question guided us throughout the entire project drafting process. Our aim was ambitious: to create an exhibition that offered a contemporary and coherent interpretation, capable of engaging the public in a topical and stimulating way. We wanted to make visitors reflect on the dynamics of colonisation and decolonisation, themes that inevitably emerge in collections of this kind.
The whole experience was a challenge, especially considering the extremely tight timeframe of about one month. However, it was also a valuable lesson in collaboration, demonstrating how each team member, with their unique background, can contribute significantly to the realisation of such a complex project.
